Today's price is the whole price. The big number already includes the dealer processing fee. Prices can change day to day, so every tag carries today's date.
The fee is printed, never hidden. Every tag names the fee. Where we have both figures, it also shows the vehicle price and the fee on separate lines. See what the fee covers.

What the $799 dealer processing fee covers
Maryland law lets a dealer charge a processing fee for this work. It is not required by law, and it is the same on every car we sell.
- Preparing and filing your title and registration paperwork with the MVA

Out-the-door, explained
Maryland excise tax is 6.5% of the price, fee included, less any trade-in. The MVA title fee is $200. Tag and registration depend on the vehicle.
